Eat healthy food
Although traveling means a new place and new food, so don’t completely deprive yourself of it. Pack yourself a healthy lunch, and eat breakfast at home.
Get as much sleep as you can, at least 7-8 hours, before you set out to see the city. Sleeping more will keep you energized throughout the day and your immune system strong.
Stay fit while you’re traveling
Often rental homes and hotels come with a gym and a yoga room. Join whichever you find the best.
Make your own routine
If you cannot join the gym, try out the simple workout techniques in your room or balcony. All you need is a little space.
Carry a bottle of water everywhere with you. Drink a glass of warm water in the morning, every day, to get started. During exercise or travel, you should always have a bottle of water with you.
Instead of eating unhealthy or oily food, pack your own food for the day. It can be anything: from dry fruits to nuts or some salads. Eat whenever you feel hungry.
Walking every day will burn out any excess fats and keep you healthy and fit even if you did not exercise.
Rent a bike
Instead of polluting the air, you can ride a bike and lose a few calories. This way you enjoy the place and you exercise.
Take your equipment
Bring along your exercising gear with you so that you will not have any excuses to not workout.

If you have some allergies or are on a strict diet, consider packing a few things which are utterly necessary. You can also make a list of the things which you may have to buy.
